EXTENDED SUMMER HOURS IN SHERMAN GARDENS

Corona del Mar botanical gardens

Open Late Thursdays & Sundays until 7pm

Now through September 18

The public is invited to enjoy summer evenings in Sherman Gardens.  The Corona del Mar botanical garden will stay open until 7 pm on Thursdays and Sundays, now through September 18.   Garden hours on all other days are 10:30 am until 4 pm.

“Evenings in the garden are my favorite, and I want to share this special time with everyone.  I hope our Members and the community will stop by on a Thursday or Sunday this Summer and experience the nuances of the Gardens at twilight” said Scott LaFleur, Executive Director of Sherman Library & Gardens.

On Thursday evenings, Executive Chef Jessica Roy of 608 Dahlia will be offering botanical beverages and light bites.  608 Dahlia was recently named a “Best New Restaurant in Orange County,” by Orange Coast Magazine.   Make reservations on opentable.com.

On Sundays, visitors are invited to pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy lawn games in the Gardens between 4 pm until 7 pm.
