Corona del Mar BID
Landscape & Streetscape

As part of the original Vision Plan for Corona del Mar, the CDM BID implemented a landscaping plan beginning with digging up and removing the old cement street medians that ran down the center of PCH and filling them with lush landscaping that included King Palms, colorful Orchid Trees and drought friendly plant species turning the community into a “Seaside Garden Village” as the BID logo proudly states.

Also as incorporated in the original Vision Plan, the CDM BID purchased decorative heritage street furniture to include covered bus stops, benches, trash receptacles, lite poles, and bike racks.

After many years of major landscape renovations, the CDM BID relinquished the maintenance of landscaping and streetscape furniture to the City of Newport Beach in 2018.
