Congratulations to Hobie Surf Shop for receiving the most recent “Business Beautification Award” for their unique contribution to the CdM Village Business District.
If you are curious what a Business Beatification Award actually is….. here it goes. Several times a year, the Directors of the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District vote on presenting an award to a local CdM Business who have completed some sort of aesthetic improvement or upgrade to their business location that contributes to the overall charm of the CdM Village.
Sarah Helvey, Store Manager for Hobie was presented with the award for the unique & colorful mural displayed on the side of the building for all to view, read or ponder as we pass on by. The mural is actually designed by Hurley and changes several times throughout the seasons while invoking a thought or feeling with each change out.
