What is a Beautification Award?
The Corona del Mar Beautification Award is designed to encourage and honor business owners
in the CDM business district for upgrades made to the physical appearance of their storefronts.
The atmosphere and aesthetics of the village is a project all business owners should take pride in, and by working together, and with your involvement, we all contribute to the success of our community and become that much closer towards achieving the overall Vision Plan for CDM
Who Can Nominate a CDM Business to Win a Beautification Award?
Anyone in the local area can nominate a Corona del Mar Business to win a Beautification Award.
How Often Are The Awards Given & What Do The Recipients Receive?
The Beautification Awards are chosen on a bi-monthly basis and awarded to the winning business recipient at the CDM Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon or at the Business Improvement District monthly meeting. Each winning recipient will proudly receive a custom award plaque to hang in their place of business along with a ½ page editorial & photo in the Village Voice Community Newsletter.
Who Votes on the Beautification Award Winners?
Each month BID Advisory Board will review the list of candidates and call for a vote. The remaining candidates will remain as a nominee for the following month.
What is the Criteria to be nominated for this Award?
Any physical Improvement to a Corona del Mar storefront business that has an impact on the aesthetics of the village business district. From full business remodels, to new awnings, paint, flower boxes and more can qualify for this award.
